John W. Hilleboe, M.D.
Orthopedic Surgeon retired from active practice

Dr. Hilleboe was raised in Billings, Montana, as the son of a newspaper editor. He completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Washington in Seattle. He interned at Philadelphia General Hospital followed by one year of general surgery at the University of Iowa. His orthopedic residency was done in St. Louis, Missouri, at Barnes Hospital and Shriners Crippled Childrens Hospital. Dr. Hilleboe served four years in the U.S. Air Force as an orthopedic surgeon. He joined Flathead Valley Orthopedics, P.C., in 1975.

Dr. Hilleboe and his wife, Lynne, have raised three sons and have very active lives that include fishing, travel, and outdoor sports of all kinds.
