Total Joint Reconstruction

Every activity that you do involves using your joints in one way or another. Simple movements such as walking, bending or combing your hair require the use of your hip, knee or shoulder joints. These joints allow your body to move in certain ways and prohibit movements in other ways. Some joints, like knees, work like a hinge, only allowing movement in one specific direction. Socket joints, like the shoulder and hip, permit movement in several directions. Joints serve us very well but can easily become damaged, inflamed and painful.
